AI Commercialization and Strategy Workshop

AI technology is changing business models and job roles and changing the competitive field. Organizations are finding out that AI is bringing new competitive threats, whereby there is a need for organizations to evaluate how AI could be used to protect the current business model and build new offerings. The business of commercializing AI products presents unique challenges, and the TELLUS AI commercialization workshops are dedicated to assisting organizations in leveraging their intellectual property (IP) for commercial success.

TELLUS AI Commercialization and Strategy Workshop is a highly interactive three-stage workshop model. The workshop focuses on identifying potential AI use cases and building a roadmap for a commercial software solution. The roadmap includes the definition of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that allows the organization to evaluate the business idea by reaching out to prospective customers. TELLUS uses industry-strength business modeling frameworks such as Business Model and Value Proposition Canvas as part of the workshop delivery. The workshop can be either virtual or in-person.

  • Business Model and Objectives: What type of business model can we have, and what business problem are we trying to solve with the solution?
  • Data Considerations: What data do we need, and is it available?
  • Technical Feasibility: Do we have the capabilities and necessary technical expertise in-house, or will we need external partners?
  • Model Development: What metrics will we use to measure the success of our AI model?
  • Implementation and Integration: Is there a need for the AI solution to integrate with existing systems and processes?
  • User Considerations: What are the solution's customer jobs (use cases) and the personas benefiting from it?
  • Risk Management: What are the potential risks and challenges associated with the AI development initiative?
  • Compliance and Ethics: Are there any regulatory or compliance issues we need to consider?

  • Live interviews by TELLUS representatives of the stakeholders in the initiative.
  • Preparation and facilitation of workshop by senior TELLUS consultant.
  • Use of modern digital collaboration tools in workshop execution.
  • Workshop summary report of pre-study, workshop, and post-analysis phases.
  • Value Canvas with value proposition hypothesis of the solution scenario or MVP.
  • Business Model Canvas with activities list and potential execution gaps.
  • Education of best practices in building a software business.

TELLUS workshops are highly interactive, and we use modern digital tools such as virtual whiteboard to build the story of your solution. Every participant in the workshop can contribute to a successful outcome. The digital environment allows the participants to continue the work after the workshop sessions using the Mural whiteboard environment.
